Built with 1 1/2" solid hardwood with a glossy polyurethane finish and "climate adjusters" that smooth out any weather damage for uninhibited game play. Its MDF-cabinet features high quality plywood corners, and its sturdy legs include 6" antique bronze leg levelers for stability on uneven floors. It includes two wood scoring abacuses and comes with 4 blue pucks, 4 red pucks, 1 table brush, and 1 can of table wax.

Not MDF, not "wood like composite material", it's wood from a tree. Hardwoods keep their shape, and while some shifting will occur due to humidity and temperature, the materials used in manufacturing the play area will be less maleable than other tables.
